The TomTom Traffic Index is an annual report that analyses traffic patterns across cities around the world, providing insights into congestion, travel times and speed. The 2024 edition analysed traffic data from 500 cities across 62 countries, helping cities, policymakers and organisations better understand how people move
I was responsible for translating the project's concept into a scalable visual and interaction system, defining how the data should be represented across the experience and working closely with the development team to bring the visualisations to life.
The tool provides a visual interface for making these changes and seeing the results directly on the map, before sharing or publishing the final style to an application.
